I want to buy a small mini Print server since my old HP
LaserJet 4 doesn't have ethernet port. I have three 3 pcs
and all pcs share the printer. Yep, I have router and hub,
Linksys WRT54G.

What would you like to recommend?

Just out of cuiosity, why would you need a print server? I have 4 computers in my house and I just have the printer plugged into one and then set up a network printer on the other three.

Just wondering.

Probably coz the puter with the printer will have to be on if you want to print, that's something not everyone wants to do...

Thank you guys.

BTW Linksys is the most expensive one and I'm considering
TRENDware print server. It offers $10 rebate and 2 parallel
and one USB print ports. Have you heard about it?

As DutchKid mentioned, I have three 'puters, but I don't want
to stay one system always on for printing, which has printer
hooked. I plan to buy the 4th system, maybe a HTPC.

The following SohoWare brand is discontinued (probably because parallel port printers are getting harder to find with USB and Firewire), but I know I've seen other products like this. About $40-50 per unit.

I'm using SohoWare "Plug-n-Print" gizmos that basically plug into a Centronics parallel port and convert it to Ethernet. The software driver goes on each machine that wants to print, and you can access any printer from anywhere on your network. I have two printers set up like this -- an HP LaserJet and an Epson ink jet.

I love the flexibility...print to anywhere from anywhere on the network.

You mean there's an off switch to these things? :P

I live in a small apt and I don't like the noise from my systems.
Since I haven't run any servers (web, ftp, file, etc.), I don't
need to stay the systems on 24hrs.

Last week I bought TRENDware TE100-P2U1P (retail) at newegg.com.
I paid $67.99 w/ fedex saver free shipping.
I will send $10 rebate form tomorrow.

It has 2 USB 1 parallel printer ports and 1 ethernet port.
Power apater works for 100-240V.

I received it on Monday and hooked 2 windows systems.
It works good.
