my vote goes to espn. i have both games but espn just sticks out like a sore thumb. graphics, controlling, and gameplay just does it for me.

I'd have to go with Madden. Of course, I really haven't played the 2005 versions of either but from what I've seen not much has changed from 2004. Madden has always been the best NFL game IMO. I'm just waiting for the 2005 PC-incarnation to come out...

i never really played football games, but i tried espn and i've stuck with it since 2k3

correction, only 2 places (websites and magazines) that gave it a higher rating than ESPN. for only 20 dollars, what is there not to check out?
