well, i'm in need of a printer. something that going to be printing more text then pictures, but will print photos as well. my limit here is going to be around $150 USD. anyone have any suggestions on which one to get?

Canon i860 - fast, reliable as hell, great B/W and awesome color, and you can replace individual ink tanks. The ink won't set you back a weeks pay either.

i was thinking about the i860 as well. just going at it in person. i was also looking at the stylus c84 as well. guess i'm going to have to check out these badboys myself.

I've learned to hate Epson over the years. The first Epson I owned wa great - a real workhorse. Then I upgraded for better graphics and the quality difference was noticable. Then that one died. Got a nother one about a year ago - same thing - it died. So now I'm back to Canon.
And I also like that Canon doesn't kill you on ink prices. |
