I'd like to share my JBL Powered speakers between my computer and XM Radio (Only onw will be in use at a time) .. Some folks (Not me ;-) thought that I could just put a 'Y' connecter on the powered Sub Woofer speaker cable (The one that connects to the puter) and have one lead going to the computer and the other to the radio .. With the radio turned off I lost most of my sound decibals to the computer .. Once I unplugged the radio from the 'Y', The sound on the puter went back to normal .. All the cableing is 1/16 mini plug stuff .. I found A|B switches for RCA connecters .. but the switch and plug converters brings this well over the limit on how much money I wanted to spend .. Any ideas? Thanks
