Well explorer really isnt lost but it only half works.... You will see what I mean.

Not to long ago i was resizing some pictures via the resize picture option on my right click provided by fireworks.

I guess I did too many at once. like I started the resizing of about 22 folders of 45imgs @ 1mb each down to smaller 800x600 32kb ones.


and then explorer started to not respond.. it was only ever one window that did this. and then when I brought explorer bck to life....

this is what resulted:

this happens all the time now when I open any folder/My Computer etc.

only time I get it with the menu bars is when I run the Windows Explorer to search for files myself:

Can some one help me get my menus back?

Try right clicking in the blank space on top and see if it allows you to get the menu bar back. Look for 'toolbars' or something like that.

No places to right click.

and no menu.

pimps suggested explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\ however that will work on the shortcut but not my docum or my compu
