UNFKNBLVBLE ! Group: VIP Member Posts: 320 Joined: 17-March 04 Member No.: 3	I installed 2 deferent fax application for win xp 1 MightyFax 2 VentaFax & Voice 5 none seems to work after the first run, it keeps on saying Modem in use by another application how can i find which application is using the modem port. please i need Fax software instaled and working. if any one can help me thanks This post has been edited by wizzard: Mar 15 2006, 06:42 PM --------------------

Group: Global Moderator Posts: 398 Joined: 18-March 04 Member No.: 17	wiz...try uninstall both apps(if you havent), uninstall the modem apps, gank the card outta the puter, restart without the modem, shutdown, install the modem with the most recent drivers(and make sure the drivers are for the coreect OS), and see what happens then. I have on occasions run into that problem before. I fresh reinstall of the OS cleared it up too! --------------------
