Hey guys, i get a constant warning from AVG telling me i have a virus in a system restore point, but when i run ANY virus checker, nothing is found :(
i have tried software, and online virus checks, spy/adware removers, everything, but no luck. how can i access the System Volume Information to remove the file? -------------------- |

turn System Restore OFF ... re-boot machine (not neccessary, but always a good idea) turn System Restore back on .... All restore points will be deleted, thus any virus in them will be gone. To get into the SYtem Volume Info folder just log in as admin and change premissions to allow you ALL ACCESS make changes etc and the MAKE SURE you put Permissions back like they were.
