Hello everyone , I am thinking of doing some video edditing for Home and Wedding packages but its gonna be mostly for wedding so i like you the Pro's to lead my to the right direction before i start.
Like which edditing software do i need something with special effects and CG , and which ones are good to make DVD, and which ones to copy home VHS to DVD all this stuff. please Needed this info ASAP. thanks for all

^ wow thats some heavy job thst the suite couldnt handle - cant say i've done anywhere near that amount of pressure on my suite - to be honest i open up combustion once the going gets above a couple of layers in premiere i prefer to control the animations, titles etc... in there rather than force prem to do it. the disk error problem is a strange one, not seen a message yet on exporting to a matrox rt avi though - used to have a whole bunch of file size probs on the comp i used at my last job though which was eventually routed down to a shite HD and another that was formatted in FAT32 (a total joke i know!).

I've been a bit unimpressed with the mpeg2 stuff i've exported from premiere in the past so i've not tried the rt.x100 realtime export yet as i've continued to just export the avi and then let procoder or CCE do its magic - before dumping the project into dvdlab to create the dvd.

shall give it a bit of a beating at the weekend if the gf decides not to visit and report back.

/back on topic though - hope this has helped you wiz? have you any more q's?
