Well, I plan on installing Linux.. Ive done it before and know the general processes. I just need a program that would let me keep my Windows XP NTFS Partition aroun (but shrink it) and have me set up my Linux partition. Any pointers to what to look for (bearing in mind im broke)?

Yup .. Did someone mention Partition Magic?? The are 2 ways you can get this to work .. Use PM to create a EXT partition or shrink up an existing partition and leave space as unallocated .. Most installs will find and use the unallocated space (This is what I usually do)
