I'm never going to move again. I used to own a nice mid-sized contemporary home with everything I wanted (since my wife and I designed it and had it built). Now...I have a beautiful old carriage house in a great part of the city - but it's got more little things to take care of - and of course my wife isn't happy with any of the paint schemes - but since the house is in a historic district every major change we make (paint, adding molding/trim, wiring for a home network...) has to be okayed by a neighborhood committee.

But...I am getting a 10Megabit connection installed Friday - a new beta test for Comcast. Totally ironic - when we sold our old house the best part was me calling Comcast to tell them to disconnect. I've hated Comcast for years but I couldn't get DSL. Well now they're testing a 10Mb connection for 50 homes in our area. So I called someone I know at the Grand Rapids cable commission and I got one of those connections. :P Go figure.

Well, I just wanted everyone to know I've not fallen off the face of the earth or anything. I'll be back in full force by the end of next week.

Damn kids and your... bandwidth...

Anyways, that's a pretty nice connection you are gonna be getting, Audioyoda. What's the upload rate?
