Anybody here interested in the European soccer tournament? If so, any favourites or guesses as to who is going to win? I think France have the strongest team and if nothing unexpected happens they should win again. The Dutch players are going to be the winners of the biggest egos.

am really looking forward to this one - ireland sadly dont stand a chance, france arent the side they were four years ago - the last world cup proved that. England (patrotism aside) arent strong enough to win it - they probably have the best midfield in the competition but the forward line and defence are highly suspect. Germany dont look like they'll go too far - they had a way to easy ride in the world cup and against a stronger set of oponants will struggle. Italy look strong and always do well in major competitions - but imo i'm betting that one of czech republic or spain will walk away with the trophy...

Dick Advocaat, the Dutch coach, should be executioned in the Amsterdam square, "De Dam", for letting the Dutch team down by substituting the left winger, Robben against the Czech Republic. This was the cause of Holland's defeat against Czech. Btw after watching the republic playing against Holland I think they are strong contenders for the trophy.

Yeah, I saw the picture in the sports section of Beckam laying on the ground in disgust after missing his penalty shot during the shot out. His team's gone and Portugal is in.

He'll have a liitle more trouble with his next contract.

Read and learn from the expert :P Btw what is the English boulevard press up to publishing the email address of the Swiss referee for diasallowing Campbell's goal? The poor Swiss has got police escort after all the threats he got.
