Ok my wife used the computer last night and now I have a stupid pop up when i open google or yahoo  . The pop up link is broken and always says adserve. I downloaded and ran the new version of spybot three days ago and it cleaned everything i thought. I ran it again today and it found nothing. adaware found nothing. CWshredder found nothing. I ran hijackthis and found nothing. I updated norton anti-virus and it found nothing. Any clue what this thing is?
any help would be appreciated Jobefx |

Also check your add/remove programs to see if it's an installed program.

Try using BPS Spyware Remover and Pest Control. I have found them to be very effective. If these apps don't work you may have to go into the registry and delete all values, keys etc. with adserve listed.
