The hard drive I received as a replacement for another one that died on me has stopped working. Lots of information lost... I swear, I'll never buy Maxtor crap again! :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

Man that $ucks. Quite honestly, I've never had one problem with any of the Maxtor drives I've used or installed for others.

update: i bought a new hd. it's WD (it was cheap), but here's the fun part... I put the maxtor one (the one that failed) on a plastic bag and put it on the freezer for one day.
Today, I took it out and installed it back. Voila! It's working again... Right now I'm copying files from the old one to the new one. :yahoo: |
