I have a number of mp3 files that are identified by song title and artist. However when I load them into my hard drive in my car all the files are identified by title followed by artist except for two files that are identified by artist followed by title (the reverse). I have changed the tag information (using Fairstars tag program) on these two files, have reversed the order in the file names and these two files are still identified as artist followed by song title. I know this may soounf petty but it is driving me crazy. Can anyone help?????????????

there's 2 tags systems: ID3v1 and ID3v2. Maybe you're editing only one of them and the player is reading the other.

You got it right Pimpscourge. I used the app Tag & Rename and found the problem. Needed to change both tags.
