AlliedHQ redesign, comments?

Thanks DK, for the script help, with a little problem solving after i email you a few... or more... times i figured it out.
OLD: I designed this a while back.. sort of my idea of combing three or fours differetn elements from other Open Source designs. I did the IFrame work and the positioning, colouring and such. LINK - http://www.alliedhq.net My Redesign. It started out as a sort of webmanager idea for my friend, Goose, owner of AlliedHQ. And a chance for me to practice PHP. I decided in order to get the web manager to work i needed to redesign the way some things worked, so i redesigned it allong the same scheme. I have a complete OVERHAUL plan and sketches, but i will have to wait until my artist gets my a more... Quality. image then my sketches. wow, pretty cool, I didnt even know you updated it yet
the only thing i can say i dont like is the Banner, its only that little middle part, looks like it needs to be more expansive :) -------------------- |

well, im stupid, but, in the new design I think you need to either center the whole page, or center your banner with the page..cause right now they are off...
example: (IMG:http://mainstream-industries.com/Other/bannerblah2.gif) the banner, and the middle of the page are not aligned, you should align them by either centering the content of the site, or moving the banner to the left -------------------- |

okay i see what you mean// hmm i will have to check.. could be a table cell.but i will have to check the design again cause it only loks funny on bigger that 1024x768 res.

I agree with the banner comment. It doesn't have to be made that much bigger, but I just think it is a bit too small to fit well into the rest of the site.
One other extremely minor gripe is the red/green text in the left nav. bar. I think that'd it be best just to keep it all white or change it to a milder gray (if you still want some extra emphasis). I don't think the colors fit in with the rest of the site at all. Lookin great so far, Boss. :) -------------------- You can win a thousand battles but you can still only lose one.
