Just picked up this laser color printer. I have to say it is awesome! After reading the reviews online saying that the solid ink system smeel like burnt crayon I was hesitant to try it out. It sits next to me on the desk and I cant smell a thing. Super fast printing 30 seconds to print on a full color photo. Under 2200 CDN with networking and 2 sided printing this thing is great!

the phaser printers are fucking outstanding i agree! its just the sheer cost of running the things... once you include the obvious toner's (4x) you've then got to replace drums (4x), fuser (1x) and belt (1x)... of course some of the componants last 8000-10000 sheets but they arent cheap when you get there! ;)

The cool thing about the 8400 is it is solid ink, no toner or fuser to worry about.
