The Democrats sound like a bunch of babies. for the last 6 months they have totally hated Bush and called him every name under the sun. they even got their surrogates to join in - Michael Goebbels Moore, woope Goldberg etc. Now some veterans are questioning Kerry's account of what happened in Vietnam and they are getting all upset. Of course these veterans have a political leaning, but that does not mean that they are liars. If having a political postion makes you unqualified to sayanything then all of us are unqualified. the Democrats seem to be saying that if you are Republican or have Republican leanings then you can't be trusted to tell the truth - Only Democrats can be trusted- I think the Democrats only believe in FREE SPEECH if you only agree with them.

If you can't take it - then don't dish it out.

The reason those veterans hate Kerry is 2 fold.

1. After his tour of duty he came back & got involved in the antiwar movement & as the veterans say, he made "accusations of atrocities" against those he was with.

"But many of the men Kerry served with in Vietnam feel betrayed and left behind by him. Soon after Kerry returned to the United States, he began organizing antiwar rallies. Appearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in April 1971, he said that U.S. troops in Vietnam had committed war crimes "with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command."

2. The veterans were outraged that after he did this he would now use his "Vietnam service" as the reason to be elected president when he had actually turned against it.

Even as someone like me who doesn't even live in the US, it's been really annoying to see him riding the "Vietnam Vet" horse so hard. I mean there were plenty of guys who went over there and fought their asses off, but that doesn't mean they'd make a good president. Though you haven't really had many good options to choose from in the past either (Dumb or Dumber?).
Our country is no better .... the opposition party is just a running joke .... basically if you ask them what their stance is on a matter, they'll basically say "The opposite of whatever the Govt said". Then, when they actually find that whatever the Govt wanted to do was actually good in the eyes of the majority of the country, they do a backflip and say "Now that we've been provided with all the details, Option Y is something we support ..... but we still think the Prime Minister is a liar when he said "blah blah blah" in the election 4 years ago ..... It's scary to think these morons are running the country.
