Basic Print Server + incompatible printer, Any possibilities?

I've got a basic Level One USB Print Server and a canon LBP-1120 laser printer.
The laser printer uses a thing in its drivers called CAPT to print which is incompatible with the print server. Occasinally I actually manage to get 1 page to print out, which i genterally have to follow up with a reset of the pc, server and printer to print another page. Anyone know any way of making these work together or is it a lost cause? Cheers, `Andy |

can you disable the the CAPT?
