Hey guys,

jjust thought I'd let you all know I broke up with my gf. Actually, I think you'd probably know that from earlier posts... It's been about a month now and I'm starting to emerge from teh depression.

I really loved her, but she kept being critical and getting angry about everyone and attacking me for it. I hate that, because I thoguht I was going to marry her. I'd even ordered the engagement ring. I'm cut.

In better news... after some embezzlement shenannigans (about two board revisions ago) I managed to get the funding for a new pc back again! I only had to hassle the Victorian State Ombudsman and wait about three years. Outcome: I'm now using a brand spanking new Apple Powerbook 12" G4 (1.5ghz / 1.256gb RAM / 100gb HDD). It hurts, but I've got a copy of Virtual PC 7 installed and it kinda runs, but sayonara to any games... I'll have to buy a new PC next year when I get a job. It's looking like the Australian Commonwealth Attorney General might employ me to work in International Politics - who knows? I'll have to move from Melbourne to Canberra, so it's probably just as well I don't have any roots down around here anymore... anyways, I'm still generally pretty sad etc.... I think I'm reduced to UT2004 / AA:SF / Castle Wolfenstein but no stinking HL2!!! (I don't really want to touch Doom3 b/c I'm not thinking I want to go to hell.

/end rant

you guys rock. I should drink less.

Cheers,

I see.
I remember you ranting about some funding stuff when i was over at your place when u lived in clayton. I too have a 12" Powerbook G4, couple of months old now. Looking forward to getting a PowerMac once I have finished all the renovations here on the house with the GF.

Keep well.

Glad you are getting the pieces together again. You'll have a dip now and then but that's normal. And talking about it here or anywhere else is a good thing.
