Opinion on 3800+ X2?

All right, I've got a choice between an FX-53 and a 3800X2. (AMD processors). Both im getting a pretty penny off on, but the 3800 is still cheaper by quite a bit, though both are in my price range, the FX is just barely.
Any tips on what i should go for? -------------------- A British company is developing small computer chips that can store music

But how much bigger is the FX53? I cant really find many contrasting benchmarks...

For games, go for the FX. For compression and video editing go with the X2 3800
