I found info on this new chip that will allow reading both Blu-Ray and HD DVD and lead to a universal HD DVD player. It is a system on a chip. Progress...

the same happened with + & - forms of DVD too. Why they just don't see that one happening ? think at some point they were saying they are totally incompatable and that can not be made.. lol :) well, hope they actually do the physical part too ;)
