No idea

We'll know when id gives us a date themselves.

ID has a fetish of saying "when it's done" (as do some other studios like Lionhead concerning Black and White 2). I really don't think it will get released any later than this Christmas. It has been in development for what seems like ages now. Their engine is finished, I think all they are doing now is working on the game content and whatnot. I would expect a release this fall... but who knows.

The last thing heard is that it will be released mid July. But I could be way off.

My local gaming store is accepting pre-orders now for a June release ... that said, it could easily get to June and they say "Now it's July"

I think I read somewhere in an interview with ID that no release dates out there for Doom 3 are official and shouldn't be taken seriously. I still don't think ID has given their official release date, so I wouldn't count on either of those dates. If you really look around, every site has different release dates (which just goes to show that no one really knows).

Could and probably WILL end up like Half Life 2... or Team Fortress :P
Keeps getting pushed back and back and back some more.

Oh well, aslong as when it does finally hit the stores its all sweet and not buggy as hell.
