Well the demo has been out for 4 days and I must say I was very impressed. I suggest you check it out if you haven't, especially if you enjoyed the first one. There have been tons of gameplay improvents such as opening the doors while hold bodies and when you gun is drawn and the aim has been dratically improved. There is supposed to be a multiplayer demo out soon and I'm sure that will also rock.

If you havent tried it yet I suggest that you download the demo from www.3dgamers.com

You will be blown away

The game hits shelves this week.

Thanks for the post. i didn't know it was out yet. i didn't play the first one, so maybe i'll give this demo a try

I have the first one on X-Box.
I tried this demo, and although it plays the same as the first, I think I prefer the console controls.

but i have a question...
what do you do after you get back up from under the train?
Rogue Znowman
After you crawl back into the train,
- Hit the switch in that little room to unlock the outside doors.
- Wait for your chance to slip into the hall, and go left.
- Turn off the lights to creat some confusion.
- Use that moment to continue left and out the side door... until you're hanging on the outside of the train.
- Shimmy along the outside of the train until you're at the front of the car... etc...

Just installed and played the MP demo on Saturday. Seems pretty cool. I love the merc's vision modes (motion tracking and electromagnetic). All the gadgets and grenades make it a lot of fun as well. I heard the singleplayer in the retail version is very linear and scripted. To anyone with the retail version, is this true? I may buy the game... I may not.
BibleBasher666
Linear? Hell no! Ther are allot of alternate way to get through levels you just need to be observant biggrin.gif You could go through this game without killing anyone (well so far im not done yet)

okay, but now they people always see me crossing the train, even if the lights are off lol

nvm, i got it now, did you notice the prince of persia ad in the cabin?
BibleBasher666
You have to do it at the right time.

You could also go through the car with the lights off knocking one out at a time and/or using the lights as bait.

Im not happy with the multiplayer, The modes seem fun..... BUT there is NO brightness settings in multiplayer. They did that because of the nature of the game modes.... but i have a fairly dark monitor and my overlay controls wont owrk in the game, so i cant see much.... even in NV view.

Overall i think it would rock.... if i could see.
