Ive been thinking of switching to an intel cpu but I need help in chossing a really good mobo. Also, im not sure of the type of intel to go with?? There is the lga775, the prescott and then the regular Pentium 4...... The reason for this is to update my system and take advantage of the pci express abillity since there is no mobo that supports pci express for amd yet. Any good advice will be appreciated.

Biggest question....how much you wanna spend?

Im willing to spend up to 300 for a cpu but not more. Ill spend whatever I have to for a good mobo. Id really like one with raid "0,1".

ok, thnx. I would like a mobo that is true pci-x. the last mobo there was a perfect match but it didnt have pci-x. Id like to get an ATI X800 card to go on the mobo. Also can anyone explain what all the differences in these intel chips are?? Im still confused; I havnt had an intel chip since my first computer which was a win 3.1.
Plus there seems to be alot of changes & alot of new technology comming out all at the same time unsure.gif
