hmmm...

I have been thinking....

Our school uses Novel to login and such on campus.. i am technically on campus... in residence here where we get our INET from the uni...

Could i configure my computer to login into the the school network.. with a novell client.. or at least.. allow a different IP, one that is unrestrictred for me?

Or would a spoof of a nic that is already given a a main access IP?

i know that if i take my laptop and well discconect a rj45 cord in the lab and plug it into my laptop i can get the 216 starting IP that allows a less restricted access...

Novell works on something similair to Active directory, it's called e-directory. So you could try, it all depends on how the security is handled at your place....

im pretty sure the only way you could do it from home, is if they have dial-in-access enabled, and you could login as usual if you had the right details.
