I recently discovered a few of those 'D.I.Y Home-Projectors' on eBay and I was very tempted to purchase the directions, aside from the 'oh-so-dodgy' feel I think everybody gets from it after reading the description.

eg: 150"-175" TV BIG SCREEN HOME THEATER PROJECTOR

But I've just stumbled across this DIY on Tom's Hardware: Supersize Your TV for $300: Build Your Own XGA Projector! Which is VERY appealing and a lot more realisticly achievable.

So I figure, what the hell. Over the next few weeks I'll begin to buy the neccessary parts as I get paid week-by-week and begin my construction, it seems simple enough.

I think I'll make up my own work-log too, i'll see..

Anyway, just thought i'd get that off my chest. biggrin.gif
