Well, My current case is getting a bit old. I need to retire it and get something new, but perferably not something that cost too many $$
Not only is my case getting old, its starting to rust, its covered with 20+ CPU stickers, mainboard stickers, AMD Logo stickers, and well, lots of stickers from the last few years.
The plastic is cracked, the panels are dinted and scratched to buggery!
All this doesn't really bother me. What is getting on my nerves is that it is not a particually easy case to work in, some of the support bars are in the way of easily getting to the drives.
I WANT a new case. I'm a computer tech and it gets quite a work out, lots of drives going in and out, motherboards tend to get upgraded every 6 months etc etc... This year I am on my 3rd motherboard, all new caddys and optical drives & every back panel is used up and i need more room!
So here's what I'm looking for:
Something relativly strong - not flimsy.
4 x 5.25" external bays
2 x 3.5" External bays
4 x 2.5" internal bays (or more!)
Screwless design perhaps would be usefull.
Space to accomidate a full sized ATX mainboard & Remvable HDD caddy's - There's nothing more annyoing then trying to put in a drive and finding that it wont fit without hitting capacators or something on the mainboard.
Decent airflow - but I dont bother overclocking so it doesn't have to be specialised for airflow (the side panels are more often off then on anyway).
So what do people recomend as a decent case?
