Why are personal links in sigs accepted but not in a post?
Can someone explain to me why they're not allowed. I thought I used to know, but now im just lost..
I only ask because I made a post with a link to my website and Spidy changed it... Why? It's a personal link, isn't it?

well mate, this is one of the many little things we are still trying to work out. for now, its fairly clear i thought:

Until we work this out, the rules state no live links anywhere, unless its a personal one IN A SIGNATURE.
basically, do not post live links in the forums. we are allowing them in sigs until we work this out.

Well, not really. You've just repeated exactly what im confused about, but in a long-winded version.. 
My question was 'Why cant we post them?' not 'Can you please rephrase the rule for me?'
ah well.. it's ok i guess.
