I just bought the Logitech MX1000. It's the first lasermouse ever to hit the market! I can honestly tell you that it rocks! I wouldn't want to trade back, EVER!

Very nice device there, DK.
I seriously need to consider buying a new mouse myself. My Wireless Intellimouse Explorer has been used extensively and one side button and my wheel button are hosed. It served me well... though it went through batteries like no tomorrow.

Give it some cheese and feed it. It will work better. just keep the cats away.

It seriously works on every surface imaginable. It never skipped on me yet. Even when you move it really fast it won't skip. Battery lifetime it really good, lasts for about 9 days of 8:00-20:00 work and it loads up in less than 4 hours.
Love it all the way...
PS: I banned kitty from my room!

Maybe you should overclock the laser and fry the cat?
