OK since a couple of guys have "shown their faces" again I'll make an attempt to restart the discussion about giving this board some new life. Obviously with the number of active members we now have this is not possible. I've asked some people to have a look at the board in the hope that they would sign in but they found it BORING. Let's not cry over spilt milk. The guys who have moved on, have moved on. So what do we do about making this place interesting for new members?

I can't imagine that somebody would come in here accidently and say, "Hey this is a nice place to hang around". Most guys say they don't know anybody who would be interested in joining. Pikaporeon (sorry mate ) you are young and your friends must have enough time to spend here. How about dragging a few of them along?

aye i agree, things have been quite quiet lately. its a shame. i remember how this place used to be and i loved it.
and even though this place is quiet, i'd still hate to lose it and loss contact with each of your guys.

Mostly because my friends are immature twats who would try to gain access to the various beta sections, and respond to most posts with
"OMGROFFLE" and "XDD LAWLZ"

Lets be honest. What attracts most people and makes them want to come back is an active w---z site with active F-Ps. In addition good software problem abilities and everything else will fall into place. I think we need to get the application postings up and the F-Ps up and running. Anyone agree??

That's the most true, intelligent thing I've seen anyone post here for quite some time.
A few years ago I used to visit this place somewhat regularly, even if it was only to antagonise members. Around that time, a good joust wasn't necessarily unwanted, and a lot more people were active visitors. When everyone started getting touchy was when I more or less stopped dropping by.
If you want more traffic, the current members need to start posting more threads and figuring out ways to reply to as many of them as their schedules allow. The rest will fall into place.
