If you were sent to a deserted island for a month and were allowed to take 3 things with you what would you take and why?

I would take a lighter to light a fire, a knife and a cow ( biggrin.gif ) for the obvious reasons.

Where is your sense of adventure guys? I ask you to live close to nature for just 1 month and you want to take all the modern technology with you. Dutchy even wants to take his house with him! I am deeply disappointed in you lot sad.gif

um, I would start with my gf (well we are soon engaged but tongue.gif), the next one would be tool-set (saw, nails, hammer etc) and well knife. assuming there is some game present on the island of course, or at least some fishes nearby.
the setup would be different to island that is near north or south pole tho.... assuming it to be near the equator ;P geez, others didnt even think about that it seems.... tongue.gif
to colder place I would go with warm clothing for me&Sarah (its the name of my gf), her, and tool-set. and would make it sure there is a shovel on the set!
