I will be operated 8th of May. The time it will take for me to return to here is unknown. Just wanted to tell ya all that its where I am - at the hospital, most likely at the bed, just laying there.
For those who dont yet know, I have something wrong with my hip. Thus they are going to do an arthoscopy or something on it. If you know more about the doctor's language then maybe the actual name of this thing is helpfull: "S73.1 Laesio labri anterior coxae 1.dx. Status post distensio." When this originally happened at the army, it was diagnosed as "M25.5 Dolor regio coxae dx St.p. contusio"
Anyways, in "plain english" there have been offered three different explanations. 1) muscle has just damaged itself / gotten loose from the other end or something similar, 2) the nerve has gotten out of the joint or 3) there is a small piece of bone inside the joint.
Been using crutches for month and half for now.. and it has slowly been getting better. Unfortunately cant still really attend my school at this point.. hopefully after the surgery I'm fine again smile.gif so, dont get too worried if I'm not around for the next couple of weeks.. tongue.gif

thanks smile.gif
I'll get back to let you all know when I know more of the operation - which happens 3.5. as i have the interviews with the doctors and stuff and so on on that day.

best wishes mate - a good idea is to buy one of those portable dvd players and a set of headphones and get mates to drop off dvd's for you - keeps you from going insane whilst on the wards biggrin.gif

okay guys, this is it - its time to sign off and shutdown the computer. for now, it looks like they'll try to get me out of the hospital sooner than it might be better as they were saying that i'll prolly get out maybe even on the same day than the operation is - but the next thing they say is a question whether or not i have someone to take care of me at my place :S
anyways, my expectations are that its going to be at least a week before i'll sign in again, and maybe another one before i'm back at my place - i'm going to be staying at my parents place after the surgery, orava knows about it already smile.gif
so be seeing you, try to behave while i'm gone wink.gif and most importantly have fun smile.gif i'll let you ppl know how it went and so on, once i'm on the condition to think at least half-clearly. meanwhile, if you get too worried, you can ask orava about me and he should be able to respond to some of the more busy matters if any should arouse.
he's my lil-bf so any topic is okay and he will either answer by his knowledge or forward the question and get back with the reply and interpretation (my guess is i'm on pretty heavy drugs so..). but i'll let you ppl know how it went and so on, once i'm on the condition to do so.

well guys, the operation was huge success. I was feeling a lot better even immediately after it was over and I was at the ward again.. tongue.gif
they said there were quite big hole in the membrane of the hip's cartilage. and part of it had even made a shell that was attached to this thing it wasnt supposed and that was what caused all the sounds and pains. in other words, it wouldnt have healed without the operation but would have been getting more and more worse.
to my surprise, i'm actually already able to sit in front of the computer, almost could stop using the crutches too - but the docs said i should use them for one week and so I shall do. just in case smile.gif At this point of time I'm still at my parents home thought, and it will be few days before i get back to my own place. dont want to make the leg too stressed at this point, even tho it feels like its healing in really rapid pace =)
