It's at least 8 years. I'm pretty sure Imaginers was certainly on the go pre-2000.

Of the members we have here now, best people to ask for a definite answer would be either Ro (as Deepone says) or Krip, if you have a contact email for him.

Happy days back then. Still amazes me that, even after all this time, so many of us still pop in here every now and then, even if it's just to say hello. I consider it the best legacy of the site that young Krip started way back then.

I remember the beginning, I was not a member then, I think I joined right after the newer look came about. After it changed from the original white/purple/blue or whatever color look it was back in the day.

Anyone remember trinity000, or whatever. I remember I got a invite from him back in the day when I made his sig bar for him. Wow yeah the old days.

I loved CS but I always felt there was way too many cheaters.

I liked CS back in the days before the smoke grenades After that I haven't really been playing it..

Haha I really can't remember to be honest, it was along time ago, lets just say him out of doubt.

I mostly play Counter-Strike Source these days though instead of 1.6, it's pretty decent.

This is great. Just stumbled in here, and I think I'm in the same boat as the rest of you... still kicking around, and still have fond memories of this place. You guys are drumming up some ancient memories here. I feel like I was just a baby back when I joined im@giners and Goddabuzz.

Funny timing as last night I was going through some files and found some of the VERY FIRST backups of nForums which back then we called IW.Forums as after imaginers broke off from imaginers/iw they used us as their official forum and we all thought imaginers was dead. So we hung around as IW forums for a while, maybe a year before the changeover to nForums to stop confusion.

That first forum was an old ikonboard 1 series (not 2 as I originally thought when i posted here last night). I also have a HEAP of old IRC logs laying around somewhere that we used to backup and have an old cgi script that would take random quotes from the channel and put it all into a log.
