does bluetooth headsets made for cell phones work for laptops or desktops that have blue tooth capabilities? i just wanna know because i want to buy one for my laptop but not sure if they work, thanx

Good Question .. I'll get a bluetooth adapter for my cmouter and see if my Jabra headset works. Wll post with results ..

Shanno,
Given certain limitations, a Bluetooth (Bt) headset will work with any Bt-enabled cell phone, laptop, or desktop system.
The limitation is simply that the device you want to use it with must support the Bt "headset profile" and/or "audio profile".
Almost all new cell phones support this, and many of the newer laptops. Desktops are a slightly different story as the majority of them are not Bt-enabled, or may support only Bt keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.
When pricing Bt headsets, make sure to look at the "talk time /standby time", as well as how fast and convenient it is to recharge.

thanx man, i was wondering if i can get an usb bluetooth adapter for my laptop and use the headsets, i'm not familiar with this stuff so i'm waiting judson to reply, thanx for the help man
