Why are personal links in sigs accepted but not in a post? ;)
Can someone explain to me why they're not allowed. I thought I used to know, but now im just lost.. :(

I only ask because I made a post with a link to my website and Spidy changed it... Why? It's a personal link, isn't it?

well mate, this is one of the many little things we are still trying to work out. for now, its fairly clear i thought:

Until we work this out, the rules state no live links anywhere, unless its a personal one IN A SIGNATURE.

basically, do not post live links in the forums. we are allowing them in sigs until we work this out.

Hope this clears it up for you.

:) Well, not really. You've just repeated exactly what im confused about, but in a long-winded version.. :huh:

My question was 'Why cant we post them?' not 'Can you please rephrase the rule for me?'

:lol: ah well.. it's ok i guess.
