OK since a couple of guys have "shown their faces" again I'll make an attempt to restart the discussion about giving this board some new life. Obviously with the number of active members we now have this is not possible. I've asked some people to have a look at the board in the hope that they would sign in but they found it BORING. Let's not cry over spilt milk. The guys who have moved on, have moved on. So what do we do about making this place interesting for new members?

That's the most true, intelligent thing I've seen anyone post here for quite some time.

A few years ago I used to visit this place somewhat regularly, even if it was only to antagonise members. Around that time, a good joust wasn't necessarily unwanted, and a lot more people were active visitors. When everyone started getting touchy was when I more or less stopped dropping by.

If you want more traffic, the current members need to start posting more threads and figuring out ways to reply to as many of them as their schedules allow. The rest will fall into place.
