Twice the power of the 9800Pro 256 - not to shabby. I know the nVidia 6800 is out as well - but I've lost all faith in their products after the first batch of 'fx' cards that just crapped out on anything DX9. |

I don't see that happening this year. Games that will be released this year are being developed now - no one's going to re-code jsut because one card can utilize one aspect of a new technology. I'm also seeing this: the 6800Ultra requires two molex connectors and a 430Watt PS. The X800XT actually runs cooler than the 9800XT and uses less power. If I don't need a bigger (and louder) PS, I don't want one. |
