I personally hate Comcast. Unfortunatly, where I live I'm stuck with them as a ISP - but I refuse to give them any more of my money - I've been a loyal DirecTV subscriber for years. You may not like TechTV, but it's head-and-shoulders better than Comcast's G4 channel. If you'd like to tell Comcast how you feel about this deal, there is an on-line petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?tech001 |

From what I've been able to gather, the new channel is called G4TechTV. All programming will come out of the G4 studio in Los Angeles and the San Francisco TechTV studio will be closed. Some of the on-air talent from TechTV will be moving to LA - Leo Laport I guess is not one of them. And I guess Patrick Norton has not indicated if he's moving to LA or not.
But it appears most of the popular shows will remain (for the most part) intact. |
