Prince of Peace Group: Moderator Posts: 120 Joined: 18-March 04 From: California Member No.: 14	well i recently reformatted , and i gotgot to back up my codec. cuz i know they are a pain to llook for, butt, i was able to get divx and xvid, but i know im still missing one more, cuz my friend sent me a video, and its all in krazy colors, so iknow im missing a codec or something, but its a .wmv any suggestions ? ?

It's native to Media Player 6 and higher. Also, don't get the k-lite codec pack - it will ruin your registry. Get the Kristal or Gordian Knot Codec Pack. Both install everything in the correct order and don't mess up your registry.
