That's an awesome setup Sprout, and a spectacular mess in that 2nd pic, well done! :D

Sproutme-

You obviously suffer from an irreversible case of Hardware Lust, but among others similarly afflicted you are justly lauded.

Great setup, sweet recovery/upgrade from your hydrological mishap. It's cool (pun intentional) that you returned to a quiet, efficient water system.

I covet your Parehlia. How does it perform for you outside the tasks for which its designed? Do you do any gaming and if so, is it satisfactory?

The question which always occurs to me when I see an enthusiast with a maxed-out system is: "What's next?"

Cheers,

~SC

Thanx :)

As I am not a big gamer can't really tell which games runs ok with parhelia.
One thing I can tell that Doom 3 failed miserably.I couldn't play even with lowest settings. That's the first game I tried to load on this system and probably the last.
Other than that it works really well with video editing and occasional movie watching on my old 42" Sony TV.Though I was really disappointed with quality on my HDTV ready Sharp Aquos 37" through S-video connection.

for what's next question it's not really much you can do with this PC setup except to upgrading to bigger HD and adding another gig of memory.
My position of upgrading is I wait till the speed of processor doubles and that's when I build new PC. Usually it is a yearly cycle maybe a little more.Last couple years I was following that cycle but now PC's have enough juice to multitask without driving you crazy and I might keep it for longer unless I cut the hose and tell my wife that it was accident :) otherwise it is hard to explain why you need a new PC

I think my camera's set to blurry, don't know why! :(

:) Finally finished building the desk, I've put my 12" Subwoofer under the desk for playing Doom3 - Holy Shit - It really adds to the atmos-fear!

Hey nice desk enigma, its good to see I am not the only one building my desks.
Desk builders unite!!!

Plus it cost so much to get a desk the size of the one I built.

Why spend hundreds of dollars on a desk, when heck you build another computer with that money. :D :P

Little update..

(IMG:http://josh.alphalink.com.au/desktop.jpg)

I bought a wireless desktop and also a 7" LCD which I've hooked upto the TV-Out - I got a 2nd LCD aswell, but havent got an AC power adaptor for it yet, so i'll hook that one up in the car. :D

After making a desk with more space, I've got a lot more room for rubbish to build up which is annoying - should do a clean-up.

ROFL!! I'll have you know that National stereo has served me well for the last 17yrs! :o and has NEVER skipped a beat :o .... can honestly say they don't make 'em like that anymore.
It's connected for my front channel with a subwoofered Creative Soundworks setup for the rear channel.

BTW, if you wanna see old, I'll take a photo of the old cabinet record player I keep in my shed (branded HMV - His Masters Voice - with the little image of the dog in front of the gramaphone and all!) :D :P

host your image online somewhere (lots of free image servers around - google it) and using the [IMG] tags, type in the link to your file.
